In the event of short-circuits or overload, Emparro's output voltage is controlled with a constant current. It is limited to 100 percent of the nominal current (or to 50 percent in Power Boost mode). This constant power function protects the power supply unit from damages caused by overloads and assists startup. Alarm contacts signal short-circuits, overloads and high temperatures. The all-metal frame provides EMC characteristics and an operating temperature range from -25° to +60° C. Power supply units feature an input voltage range from 85 to 265V ac (90 to 250V dc) and with seven different models to cover different voltage ranges of 12, 24 and 48V dc output power.
